Prostate

The prostate is a component of the male reproductive organ that facilitate make and store seminal fluid. In adult men, a typical prostate is about three centimeters long and weighs about twenty grams.It is located in the pelvis, under the urinary bladder and in front of the rectum.

Prostatitis

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate gland, in men and a benign (non life threatening) condition. Prostatitis is not prostate cancer. It is caused by inflammation (swelling) of the prostate. It can cause discomfort deep inside the pelvis – all the time or when passing urine or with ejaculation.
