Acne Facials was the name of his establishment. He had the best skin care technicians that side of town. He seemed to know how to make money but many people who knew him, said he was a trickster. I will tell you why.
Getting an acne facial treatment was a popular thing to do in the town. The last census revealed that for every man living in the town, there were two women. So if my mathematics serves me correctly, women out numbered men 2 to 1. I assumed that’s why many scandals would erupt, involving husbands cheating on their wives. The reality was that there were just not enough men to go around.
Anyway, with such a numerical dominance in the population, he was able to do very well with his acne facials business. Everyday you would see his parlor packed to capacity. The service was good and the skin care technicians he hired were renowned for their professionalism. Most of these women who patronized his parlor just wanted to be pampered. Many of them did not have skin or acne problems. It was all about the pampering.
He decided all he had accomplished was not enough. Knowledge can be a powerful thing and it can be used to deceive and to damage. He opened up a fast food restaurant and would encourage his patrons to buy from him. He gave huge discounts on selected meals and I am sure you can imagine what these discounted meals were. Discounted meals were comprised of all the meats you can think of and all were served in a deep fried form. Vegetables were highly priced and those meals that were not discounted were vegetarian in nature and a healthier option.
His profits from the parlor business suddenly soared after 3 months or so. The discounted meals sold like hot cakes and there was a correlative grow in the number of acne facials performed in his parlor. His discounted meals had precipitated a phenomenal epidemic of acne breakouts.
